0163 - Blue Steel Double-Jointed Loose Ring Bit with Rollers

Composition: Blue Steel (54% carbon and 46% manganese)

A double-jointed mouthpiece avoids the nutcracker effect.

Blue Steel oxidizes over time creating a thin layer of rust. It naturally stimulates salivation leading to relaxed acceptance. This process of oxidation makes the mouthpiece turns from blue to a greyish brown.

The copper rings on the central piece make the bit easier to interact with and allows the horse to relax more.

Care tips: thoroughly rinse the bit with water after each use to limit residue build-up.
